The answer is no. We can perform an investigation any time of day. However, we feel that during nighttime investigations, there is less outside intereference (no phones ringing, fewer cars passing by, etc.). We also feel that by turning off all lights, there seems to be less electrical intereference. Try this yourself. Go into your living room during the day. Sit quietly for several minutes and just pay attention to your environment, the sights and sounds. Now, do the same thing, but this time late at night with all lights off. Does the atmosphere feel different? Do things seem a little more settled? Are you more aware of what is going on around you?
