    Road Trip Wanderings

Lee and I just returned from an awesome trip across the country. Part vacation, part ScareFest dedication, we spent 9 days on the road. We travelled to some of the country’s most acclaimed haunted sites to network and give away free passes to ScareFest.

Our first paranormal-related stop was Roswell, New Mexico. Cool place to visit if you are into the Alien/UFO stuff. If you go, be sure to stop in at the International UFO Museum and Research Center downtown.

Next, we made our way up through New Mexico, with a stop at Billy the Kid’s grave. Another unique out-of-the-way site. Then on up to Estes Park, Colorado.

We checked into Room 401 at the Stanley for two nights. It was an incredible experience to stay in the The Historic Stanley, Estes Park, COmost haunted room of the most haunted hotel in the country. A few minor personal experiences, but nothing too crazy.  Overall, though the place is an incredible place to visit.  And, the staff is the best!

Villisca, IowaNext it was on to Villisca, Iowa. We met with Elishia and Johnny Houser and got a private tour of the Ax Murder House. Another must-see  spot for paranormal enthusiasts. Finally, we started the trek back to  Kentucky, but not Willard Public Library, Evansville, Indianawithout a stop at the Willard Library, Home of the Gray Lady Ghost in Evansville, IN.  The building is beautiful, and the  staff down in the children’s room were more than happy to discuss the history of the library and the Gray Lady.

We had a blast seeing some of the country’s famous paranormal sites. Now, we’re back to business helping you with your paranormal issues!
