SHOCK Featured in Upcoming Ghost Adventures Episode

On Friday, December 2, 2011 Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel will feature two locations that SHOCK have become very familiar with—Perryville Battlefield and Rocky Point Manor (Harrodsburg). When working with members from Ghost Adventures in September for ScareFest, SHOCK was asked for recommendations on haunted locations in and around the Lexington area. These two locations immediately came to mind. We have been the primary paranormal contact point for Perryville Battlefield for the past 3+ years and are very familiar with activity that occurs there. The story is much the same for Rocky Point.
We were called in to investigate Rocky Point for the first time in January of 2009, shortly after renovations began on the historical home. That would be the beginning of in depth research and pararnormal experiments in the home. The home dates back to the 1790s. However, the land on which the house stands has close ties with Fort Harrod, the first settlement in the state. The land was the site of Indian skirmishes during frontier times. Then, during the battle of Perryville, the home itself was used as a field hospital.
The upcoming episode will feature interviews of Lee and Jeff, as well as our close friend Justin Engelhardt who was the mastermind behind the incredible renovations of Rocky Point. For the investigation of the battlefield, park managers Joni House and Kurt Holman lay out the history of the battle. Oh yeah, Jennifer makes a cameo as a frontierswoman during the dramatizations!
Tune in to Travel Channel Friday, December 2 at 9P ET for this history-filled episode!
